From a Moment of Healing to a Movement of Self-Care

What started as a $25 candle-making kit quickly became something much more meaningful. In 2020, during one of the darkest seasons of her life, our founder, newly postpartum and searching for light—found comfort in small, sensory rituals: soft glows, soothing scents, and quiet moments carved out between chaos.

Late-night blending became therapy. Creating fragrances became a way to reconnect, to breathe, to rediscover parts of herself that had dimmed. Each candle she poured carried the same intention: gentleness, grounding, and the reminder that even in heavy moments, there is always a spark waiting to be reignited.

As the candles brought healing, they also sparked something unexpected: community. People weren’t just buying candles, they were seeking comfort. They wanted products that helped them slow down, breathe deeper, and create spaces that felt soft, warm, and safe.

Just as fragrance had offered emotional refuge, the world of beauty and skincare opened another path to self-care, one rooted in nourishment, softness, and everyday rituals of love. Expanding into skincare felt natural, even necessary. It allowed us to extend the same comfort we poured into our candles into products that touch your skin, your mornings, your moments of unwinding.

And with that intention, MAVWICKS BEAUTY was born.
