Do wax melts require a flame?
No. Wax melts are designed to be used with an approved electric or tealight wax warmer. If using a tealight warmer, follow all flame-safety instructions provided by the manufacturer.
How many wax pieces should I use?
Begin with one or two pieces, depending on the size of your warmer and room. Add more during a future use if you prefer a stronger fragrance, but never overfill the warmer dish.
How long will the fragrance last?
Fragrance longevity varies based on the scent, number of pieces used, room size, airflow, and warmer temperature. Replace the wax when you can no longer smell the fragrance.
Can I mix different fragrances?
Yes. You can combine compatible Mavwicks Wax Melt fragrances to create a scent that feels uniquely yours. Begin with small amounts until you find your preferred blend.
Can I add water or fragrance oil to the melted wax?
No. Never add water, fragrance oil, or any other liquid to your wax warmer unless the warmer manufacturer specifically states that it is designed for that purpose.
How do I remove used wax from my warmer?
Turn off the warmer and allow the wax to cool completely. Remove the cooled wax according to the warmer manufacturer’s instructions. Never pour melted wax down a drain.
Why can’t I smell my wax melts as strongly after a while?
Your senses can become accustomed to a fragrance over time. Turn the warmer off, leave the room for a while, and return later. If the scent remains faint, it may be time to replace the wax.
